The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken by a terrible quake 1 And the earth throws out its burdens, 2 And man will say: "What is the matter with it?" 3 On that Day it will relate all her news, 4 for your Lord will have commanded her (to do so). 5 That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds. 6 So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 7 And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
