۞ And Allah has proclaimed, “Do not ascribe two Gods; indeed He is the only One God; therefore fear Me alone.” 51 And His is all that is in the heavens and on earth, and to Him [alone] obedience is always due: will you, then, pay reverence to aught but Him? 52 And whatever blessings you have, are all from Allah – then whenever misfortune reaches you, towards Him only do you seek refuge. 53 Then, when He has removed the harm from you, behold! Some of you associate others in worship with their Lord (Allah). 54 So they will deny what We have given them. Then enjoy yourselves, for you are going to know. 55 And they assign a portion of that which We have given them unto what they know not. By Allah! but ye will indeed be asked concerning (all) that ye used to invent. 56 And they assign unto Allah daughters - Be He Glorified! - and unto themselves what they desire; 57 When news is brought to one of them, of (the birth of) a female (child), his face darkens, and he is filled with inward grief! 58 He hideth himself from the folk because of the evil of that whereof he hath had tidings, (asking himself): Shall he keep it in contempt, or bury it beneath the dust. Verily evil is their judgment. 59 For those who believe not in the Hereafter is an evil similitude, and for Allah is the sublime similitude, and He is the Mighty, the Wise. 60
