Al-Isra 8 of 12
The Day will surely come when We shall summon every people with their leader. Then those who are given their records in their right hands will read their records [eagerly] and shall not in the least be wronged: 71 But he who is blind in this life, shall be blind in the Everlasting Life and will be further astray from the Path. 72 And their purpose was to tempt thee away from that which We had revealed unto thee, to substitute in our name something quite different; (in that case), behold! they would certainly have made thee (their) friend! 73 Had We not strengthened your faith you might have relied on them some how. 74 In that case We should have made thee taste an equal portion (of punishment) in this life, and an equal portion in death: and moreover thou wouldst have found none to help thee against Us! 75 They were bent upon uprooting you from this land and driving you away from it. But were they to succeed, they would not be able to remain after you more than a little while. 76 (This is Our) course with regard to those of Our apostles whom We sent before you, and you shall not find a change in Our course. 77
