BE CONSTANT in [thy] prayer from the time when the sun has passed its zenith till the darkness of night, and [be ever mindful of its] recitation at dawn: for, behold, the recitation [of prayer] at dawn is indeed witnessed [by all that is holy]. 78 And of the night - keep the vigil therein, as an act of supererogation for thee; belike thy Lord will raise thee up in a station praised. 79 And pray, “My Lord! Admit me with the truth and take me out with the truth*, and give me from Yourself a helpful dominance**.” (* Wherever I come or go ** Through spread of Islam.) 80 Say: 'Truth has come and falsehood has vanished. Indeed, falsehood will certainly vanish' 81 What We have sent down of the Qur'an is a healing and a grace for the faithful, and adds only loss for the sinners. 82 Yet when We bestow favors upon mankind he turns his back and withdraws to one side. But when evil befalls him, he despairs. 83 Say: Every one acts according to his manner; but your Lord best knows who is best guided in the path. 84
