And recall what time Musa said unto his page: I shall not cease until I reach the confluence of the two seas, or I shall go on for ages. 60 But when they reached the point where the two rivers meet, they forgot their fish, and it took its way into the sea, as if through a tunnel. 61 But when they had gone farther, he said to his servant: Bring to us our morning meal, certainly we have met with fatigue from this our journey. 62 He said: lookest thou! when we betook ourselves to the rock, then I forgot the fish; and naught but the Satan made me forget to mention it, and it took its way into the sea - a marvel! 63 [Moses] said, "That is what we were seeking." So they returned, following their footprints. 64 and they found one of Our servants to whom We had granted Our mercy and had given a knowledge from Ourself. 65 Musa said unto him: shall I follow thee that thou mayest teach me of that which thou hast been taught a directive knowledge. 66 He said: "You will not be able to bear with me. 67 How canst thou bear with that whereof thou canst not compass any knowledge? 68 He said: Allah willing, thou shalt find me patient and I shall not in aught gainsay thee. 69 Said [the sage]: "Well, then, if thou art to follow me, do not question me about aught [that I may do] until I myself give thee an account thereof." 70
