In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Kaf. Ha. Ya. A'in. Sad. 1 This is the remembrance of the mercy of your Lord upon His bondman Zakaria. 2 when he called upon his Lord in secret, 3 He submitted, “O my Lord – my bones have become weak and old age shines forth from my head, and O my Lord, I have never been disappointed in my prayer to you.” 4 And surely I fear my cousins after me, and my wife is barren, therefore grant me from Thyself an heir, 5 who will be my heir and an heir to the House of Jacob, and make him, my Lord, satisfied' 6 O Zakariya! surely We give you good news of a boy whose name shall be Yahya: We have not made before anyone his equal. 7 'How shall I have a son, Lord' he asked, 'when my wife is barren, and I am advanced in years' 8 He said: So shall it be, your Lord says: It is easy to Me, and indeed I created you before, when you were nothing. 9 Zachariah asked, " Lord, show me evidence (if this is a heavenly news)." The Lord said, "The evidence for it is that you must not speak (to any mortal) though you are in good health for three nights (and days)." 10 Zachariah came out to his people from place of worship and inspired them to glorify the Lord both in the morning and evening. 11 (And it was said unto his son): O John! Hold fast the Scripture. And we gave him wisdom when a child, 12 And tenderness from Us and purity, and he was one who guarded (against evil), 13 and full of piety towards his parents; and never was he haughty or rebellious. 14 And peace be upon him the day he was born and the day he dies and the day he is raised alive. 15

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
