And man saith: When I am dead, shall I forsooth be brought forth alive? 66 Will not man remember that We created him aforetime, when he was nothing? 67 So, by thy Lord, without doubt, We shall gather them together, and (also) the Evil Ones (with them); then shall We bring them forth on their knees round about Hell; 68 and thereupon We shall, indeed, draw forth from every group [of sinners] the ones that had been most determined in their disdainful rebellion against the Most Gracious: 69 And surely We are Best Aware of those most worthy to be burned therein. 70 There is not one of you but shall approach it. That is a fixed ordinance of thy Lord. 71 Then We shall deliver those that feared Allah and leave the wrong-doers there on their knees. 72 When Our clear verses are recited to them the unbelievers say to the believers: 'Which of the two parties has a better position or company?' 73 How many generations of greater prosperity and splendor have We destroyed before them? 74 Say: "Ar-Rahman extends the life of those who are astray until they come to realise what had been promised them was either (physical) affliction or (the terror) of Resurrection. Then will they know who is worse in position, and who is weak in supporters. 75 God increases His guidance to those who follow guidance; and lasting good works are better in the sight of your Lord and are most rewarding. 76 So have you seen him who denied Our signs and says, “I shall certainly be given wealth and children?” 77 Has he known the unseen or has he taken a covenant from the Most Beneficent (Allah)? 78 No! We will record what he says and extend for him from the punishment extensively. 79 And We shall inherit from him that whereof he spake, and he will come unto Us, alone (without his wealth and children). 80 And they have taken gods besides Allah, that they should be to them a source of strength; 81 By no means! They shall soon deny their worshipping them, and they shall be adversaries to them. 82
