Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Have We not expanded thee thy breast?- 1 relieved you of the burden 2 Which weighed down thy back; 3 And raised high the esteem (in which) thou (art held)? 4 So verily, with the hardship, there is relief, 5 Certainly, after every difficulty there comes relief. 6 So, when you have finished (your prayer), labor (in supplication), 7 And to your Lord (Alone) turn (all your intentions and hopes and) your invocations. 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
