Do you not see that We have appointed devils to incite those who deny the truth to disobedience? 83 So make no haste against them (O Muhammad). We do but number unto them a sum (of days). 84 The Day will surely come when We shall gather the God-fearing like [honoured] guests before the Compassionate God 85 and the criminals will be driven and thrown into hell, 86 People do not own the right to intercede, except those* who have made a covenant with the Most Gracious. (* The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to intercede.) 87 They say: "(Allah) Most Gracious has begotten a son!" 88 Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous! 89 Which would cleave the skies asunder, rend the earth, and split the mountains, 90 That they should invoke a son for (Allah) Most Gracious. 91 It is not for the Merciful to take a son! 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but he shall come to the Most Compassionate Lord as His servant. 93 He has enumerated them and counted them a [full] counting. 94 And everyone of them will come to Him singly on the Day of Judgment. 95 To the righteously striving believers God will grant love. 96 And We make (this Scripture) easy in thy tongue, (O Muhammad) only that thou mayst bear good tidings therewith unto those who ward off (evil), and warn therewith the froward folk. 97 How many generations have We destroyed before them! Do you sense even one of them, or hear a whisper from them? 98
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
