Hast thou not seen how We sent the Satans against the unbelievers, to prick them? 83 Therefore be not in haste against them, We only number out to them a number (of days). 84 The Day will surely come when We shall gather the God-fearing like [honoured] guests before the Compassionate God 85 And We will drive the guilty to hell thirsty 86 They shall not control intercession, save he who has made a covenant with the Beneficent Allah. 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 Surely, you have brought a monstrous thing! 89 This would almost cause the heavens to rent apart, the earth to cleave asunder and the mountains to crumble down in fragments, 90 because they have ascribed a son to the Merciful. 91 The Beneficent God is too Exalted to have a son. 92 All those who are in the heavens and the earth will come to the Most Gracious as His bondmen. 93 He does take an account of them (all), and hath numbered them (all) exactly. 94 and each one shall come to Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 The Lord of Mercy will bestow affection upon those who believe and perform righteous deeds. 96 Therefore, We have revealed the Qur'an in your tongue and made it easy to understand that you may give glad tidings to the God-fearing and warn a contentious people. 97 And how many a generation have We destroyed before them! Do you see any one of them or hear a sound of them? 98
