In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ TaHa. 1 We have not sent the Quran down to you to distress you, 2 But as a reminder unto him who feareth, 3 a revelation from Him Who created the earth and the high heavens. 4 The Beneficent Allah is firm in power. 5 Unto Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth, as well as all that is between them and all that is beneath the sod. 6 And if you (O Muhammad SAW) speak (the invocation) aloud, then verily, He knows the secret and that which is yet more hidden. 7 God: There is no god but He. To Him belong the attributes most beautiful. 8 Hath there come unto thee the story of Musa? 9 When he saw a fire and said to his wife, “Wait – I have seen a fire – perhaps I may bring you an ember from it or find a way upon the fire.” 10 And when he came to it, he was called, "O Moses, 11 Verily I am your Lord! Take off your shoes. You are in the sacred valley, Tuwa! 12 I Myself have chosen thee; therefore give thou ear to this revelation. 13 “Indeed it is Me, Allah – there is no God except I – therefore worship Me and keep the prayer established for My remembrance.” 14 "Verily, the Hour is coming and My Will is to keep it hidden that every person may be rewarded for that which he strives. 15 Let him who does not believe in it and follows his lust not turn your thought away from it, lest you are ruined. 16 “And what is this in your right hand, O Moosa?” 17 'It is my staff," Moses replied, "upon it I lean and with it I beat down leaves to feed my sheep and for me there are other uses in it' 18 Allah said: cast it down, O Musa! 19 and he cast it down, and behold it was a serpent sliding. 20 He said, “Pick it up and do not fear; We shall restore it to its former state.” 21 And press your hand to your side, it shall come out white without evil: another sign: 22 "In order that We may show thee (two) of our Greater Signs. 23 Go to Firon, surely he has exceeded all limits. 24
