T H (Taa Haa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta Ha. 1 We have not sent down this Qur’an upon you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) for you to fall into hardship! (Either because he used to pray at length during the night or because he was distressed due to the disbelievers not accepting faith.) 2 But only as a Reminder to those who fear (Allah). 3 a revelation from Him who created the earth and the high heavens; 4 the Merciful willed to the Throne. 5 all that is in the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, and all that is underneath the soil. 6 And if you utter the saying aloud, then surely He knows the secret, and what is yet more hidden. 7 God: There is no god but He. To Him belong the attributes most beautiful. 8 Has the story of Moses reached you? 9 When he saw a fire, he said to his family, "Wait here. I can see a fire. Perhaps I can bring you a brand from it, or find some guidance at the fire." 10 When he came to it, a voice called out: "Moses! 11 I am your Lord. Take off your shoes, for you are in Towa, the sacred valley. 12 and I have chosen thee [to be My apostle]: listen, then, to what is being revealed [unto thee]. 13 Verily I am Allah. There is no god beside Me. So serve Me and establish Prayers to remember Me. 14 The Hour is coming; I would conceal it that every soul may be recompensed for its labours. 15 "Therefore let not such as believe not therein but follow their own lusts, divert thee therefrom, lest thou perish!".. 16 What is that in your right band, O Moses?" 17 "It's my staff," he answered; "I lean on it, and fell leaves for my goats with it, and I have other uses for it." 18 Said He, 'Cast it down, Moses!' 19 So he threw it down, and lo, it became a running serpent. 20 (Allah) said, "Seize it, and fear not: We shall return it at once to its former condition".. 21 "And press your (right) hand to your (left) side, it will come forth white (and shining), without any disease as another sign, 22 That We may go on showing you Our greater signs. 23 Go to Pharaoh, he has become insolent' 24
