When your Lord called out to Moses, saying, "Go to the wrongdoing people, 10 the people of Pharaoh, who refuse to be conscious of Me!" 11 He said, “My Lord, I fear that they will deny me.” 12 My heart is constrained, my tongue falters, so delegate Aaron; 13 And they have a crime against me, so I fear that they will kill me. 14 He said: by no means. So go ye twain with Our signs; verily We shall be with you listening. 15 And come together unto Pharaoh and say: Lo! we bear a message of the Lord of the Worlds, 16 Let the children of Israel go with us!'" 17 The Pharaoh said, "Did we not bring you up in our home as an infant and did you not live with us for many years 18 And thou didst that thy deed which thou didst; and thou art of the ingrates. 19 Musa (Moses) said: "I did it then, when I was an ignorant (as regards my Lord and His Message). 20 “I therefore went away from you as I feared you – so my Lord commanded me and appointed me as one of the Noble Messengers.” 21 And this is the favor with which you oblige me: You have made the Israelites your slaves. 22 Pharaoh said: 'And what is the Lord of the Worlds' 23 He said, 'The Lord of the heavens and earth, and what between them is, if you have faith.' 24 Pharaoh said to those around him, "Did you hear?" 25 Moses went on, "He is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers." 26 (Pharaoh) said: Lo! your messenger who hath been sent unto you is indeed a madman! 27 Moses said, "He is the Lord of the East and the West, and all that lies between them, if only you could understand." 28 Said he, 'If thou takest a god other than me, I shall surely make thee one of the imprisoned.' 29 He said, 'What, even though I brought thee something so manifest?' 30 The Pharaoh replied, "Bring it, if you are telling the truth." 31 So Moosa put down his staff and it became a visible serpent. 32 and he drew his hand (out of his armpit) and lo! it had become a shining object to the beholders. 33
