T H (Taa Haa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta Ha. 1 We have not sent down the Quran unto you (O Muhammad SAW) to cause you distress, 2 Nay, it is a reminder to him who fears: 3 A revelation from Him Who created the earth and the high heavens, 4 the Merciful willed to the Throne. 5 His is what is in the heavens and what is in the earth and what is between them two and what is beneath the ground. 6 And if thou speakest aloud, then lo! He knoweth the secret (thought) and (that which is yet) more hidden. 7 Allah - there is no deity except Him. To Him belong the best names. 8 Hath there come unto thee the story of Moses? 9 When he saw the fire, he said to his family, "Wait here for I can see a fire. Perhaps I shall bring you a burning torch or find a way to some fire". 10 When he came to it, a voice cried, 'Moses, 11 Indeed, I am your Lord, so remove your sandals. Indeed, you are in the sacred valley of Tuwa. 12 “And I have chosen you, therefore listen carefully to what is divinely revealed to you.” 13 "Verily, I - I alone - am God; there is no deity save Me. Hence, worship Me alone, and be constant in prayer, so as to remember Me! 14 The Hour is coming; I would conceal it that every soul may be recompensed for its labours. 15 "Therefore, let not the one who believes not therein (i.e. in the Day of Resurrection, Reckoning, Paradise and Hell, etc.), but follows his own lusts, divert you therefrom, lest you perish. 16 "What do you have in your right hand, Moses?" 17 He said: "This is my stick, whereon I lean, and wherewith I beat down branches for my sheep, and wherein I find other uses." 18 He said: "Moses, throw it down." 19 So he cast it down, and lo! it was a serpent, gliding. 20 (Allah) said, "Seize it, and fear not: We shall return it at once to its former condition".. 21 And draw in your hand to your side; it will come out white without disease - another sign, 22 so that We might make thee aware of some of Our greatest wonders. 23 Go to the Pharaoh; he has become a rebel." 24
