۞ Ta, Ha. 1 We have not sent down to you the Qur'an that you be distressed 2 But as admonition for him who fears -- 3 A revelation from Him who created the earth and the high ascending skies, 4 The Beneficent One, Who is established on the Throne. 5 To Him only belongs all whatever is in the heavens and all whatever is in the earth, and all whatever is between them, and all whatever is beneath this wet soil. 6 If thou pronounce the word aloud, (it is no matter): for verily He knoweth what is secret and what is yet more hidden. 7 Allah! There is no Allah save Him. His are the most beautiful names. 8 And did the news of Moosa reach you? 9 When he saw fire, he said to his family: Stop, for surely I see a fire, haply I may bring to you therefrom a live coal or find a guidance at the fire. 10 So when he came to it, a voice was uttered: O Musa: 11 Lo! I, even I, am thy Lord, So take off thy shoes, for lo! thou art in the holy valley of Tuwa. 12 I Myself have chosen thee; therefore give thou ear to this revelation. 13 Verily I am God; there is no god but I; therefore serve Me, and perform the prayer of My remembrance. 14 The Hour is coming. I almost conceal it, so that every soul will be recompensed for its labors. 15 Let not the unbelievers who follow their vain desires make you forget the Day of Judgment, lest you will perish." 16 And what is that in your right hand, O Moses?" 17 He said, "It is my staff; I lean upon it, and I bring down leaves for my sheep and I have therein other uses." 18 Allah said: cast it down, O Musa! 19 So he threw it - and lo! it was a snake, moving rapidly. 20 Then He said: "Seize it and have no fear. We shall restore it to its former state. 21 "Now place thy hand within thy armpit: it will come forth [shining] white, without blemish, as another sign [of Our grace,] 22 “In order that We may show you Our great signs.” 23 “Go to Firaun, he has rebelled.” 24
