The people of Lut denied the Noble Messengers. 160 When their brother Lut said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)? 161 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 162 So fear Allah and obey me. 163 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 164 "Of all the creatures in the world, will ye approach males, 165 "And leave those whom Allah has created for you to be your wives? Nay, you are a trespassing people!" 166 They said, 'If thou givest not over, Lot, thou shalt assuredly be one of the expelled.' 167 [Lot] exclaimed: "Behold, I am one of those who utterly abhor your doings!" 168 [And then he prayed:] "O my Sustainer! Save me and my household from all that they are doing!" 169 We saved him and all of his family, 170 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind. 171 and then We utterly destroyed the others, 172 And We showered a rain upon them; so what a wretched rain for those who were warned! 173 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 174 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 175
