Moses said: "Lord! Open my breast for me; 25 Make my task easy 26 And untie the knot from my tongue 27 so that they may understand me. 28 “And appoint for me a viceroy from among my family.” 29 Aaron my brother 30 Add Thou through him to my strength, 31 and let him share my task, 32 That we may exalt You much 33 "And remember You much, 34 Verily Thou! Thou art of us ever a Beholder. 35 Allah said: "You are granted your request, O Musa (Moses)! 36 We have again bestowed Our favour upon you. 37 When we inspired in thy mother that which is inspired, 38 'Put him in a wooden box and cast it in the river. The river will cast it on the bank. An enemy of Ours, and his, will retrieve it.' We bestowed Our love on you that you may be reared under Our eyes. 39 What time thy sister was walking along and saying: shall I direct you unto one who will take care of him? Thus We returned thee to thy mother that she might cool her eyes and she might not grieve. And thou slewest a person, but We delivered thee from sorrow, and We tried thee with several trials. Then thou tarriedst for years among the people of Madyan then thou camest according to fate, O Musa! 40 “And I created you especially for Myself.” 41 go therefore, thou and thy brother; with My signs, and neglect not to remember Me. 42 Go, both of you, to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed. 43 "And speak to him mildly, perhaps he may accept admonition or fear Allah." 44 They said: "O our Lord, we are really frightened lest he behave insolently with us or become violent." 45 [Allah] said, "Fear not. Indeed, I am with you both; I hear and I see. 46 Go to him and say, 'We are both messengers from your Lord. Let the Children of Israel go with us, and do not oppress them. We have brought you a Sign from your Lord, and may peace be upon whoever follows the right guidance; 47 it has been revealed to us that punishment shall overtake him who rejects it and turns away!'" 48 Pharaoh said:" Moses! Who is the Lord of the two of you?" 49 They replied, "Our Lord is the One Who has created all things and has given guidance". 50 (Pharaoh) said: "What then is the condition of previous generations?" 51 [Moses] said, "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord in a record. My Lord neither errs nor forgets." 52 The One Who has made the earth a bed for you and kept operative roads for you in it and sent down water from the sky; so with it We produced different pairs of vegetation. 53 Eat, and graze your cattle; indeed in this are signs for people of intellect. 54
