(Moses) said: "O my Lord! expand me my breast; 25 and make my task easy for me. 26 and loosen the knot from my tongue 27 “In order that they may understand my speech.” 28 Appoint for me a minister from my family 29 Harun, my brother. 30 “Back me up with him.” 31 Let him be my partner in this task 32 so that [together] we might abundantly extol Thy limitless glory 33 and may remember You much. 34 Surely You know us well." 35 He answered: "Granted is your prayer, O Moses. 36 And indeed, another time, already We have shown thee favour, 37 When We told your mother what We relate: 38 Saying: Throw him into the ark, and throw it into the river, then the river shall throw it on to the bank, and there an enemy to Me and an enemy to him shall take him. And I endued thee with love from Me that thou mightest be trained according to My will, 39 Recall, when your sister went along, saying: 'Shall I direct you to one who will take charge of him?' Thus We brought you back to your mother so that her heart might be gladdened and she might not grieve. Moses, recall when you slew a person. We delivered you from distress and made you go through several trials. Then you stayed for several years among the people of Midian, and now you have come at the right moment as ordained. 40 "And I have Istana'tuka, for Myself. 41 Go you and your brother with My communications and be not remiss in remembering Me; 42 go forth, both of you, unto Pharaoh: for, verily, he has transgressed all bounds of equity! 43 But speak unto him in a mild manner, so that he might bethink himself or [at least] be filled with apprehension. 44 'O our Lord' both said, 'We fear lest he may be excessive against us or become insolent' 45 He said, “Do not fear I am with you, All Hearing and All Seeing.” 46 They came to the Pharaoh and told him that they were the Messengerss of his Lord and that they wanted him to let the Israelites go with them and stop afflicting the Israelites with torment. They told the Pharaoh, "We have brought miracles from Our Creator. Peace be with those who follow the right guidance. 47 ‘It has indeed been revealed to us that the punishment is upon the one who denies and turns away.’” 48 Pharaoh said:" Moses! Who is the Lord of the two of you?" 49 Moses replied, "Our Lord is He who has given everything its form, then guided it." 50 [Pharaoh] said, "Then what is the case of the former generations?" 51 [Moses] said, "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord in a record. My Lord neither errs nor forgets." 52 It is God who has made the earth as a cradle for you with roads for you to travel. He has sent water from the sky to produce various pairs of plants. 53 Eat and pasture your cattle; most surely there are signs in this for those endowed with understanding. 54
