Say, "Who will save you from the wrath of the Most Gracious, by night and by day?" Yet they turn away from the remembrance of their Lord. 42 Or do they have gods to defend them other than Us? They are unable [even] to help themselves, nor can they be protected from Us. 43 Nay, We generously provided them and their fathers, and they enjoyed Our provision for long. Do they not see that We are now advancing into their territory, diminishing it from different sides? Is it they, then, who will triumph?" 44 Say, "I warn you only through the Revelation." But the deaf can hear nothing when they are warned, 45 If but a breath of thy Lord's chastisement touched them, they would surely say, 'Alas for us! We were evildoers.' 46 And We place the scales of justice for the Day of Resurrection, so no soul will be treated unjustly at all. And if there is [even] the weight of a mustard seed, We will bring it forth. And sufficient are We as accountant. 47 To Moses and Aaron We granted the criteria of discerning right from wrong, and We gave them the light and a reminder to the pious ones 48 Who are fearful of their Lord inwardly and dread the Hour. 49 This is a blessed Remembrance which We have sent down. Do you disbelieve it? 50
