The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ The believers must (eventually) win through,- 1 Who are humble in their prayers, 2 And who shun vain conversation, 3 who observe Zakah; 4 Who abstain from sex, 5 except with their wives and what their right hand possess, and then they are not blamed. 6 (but whosoever seeks after more than that, those are the transgressors) 7 And those who are keepers of their trusts and their covenant, 8 And they who carefully maintain their prayers - 9 They are the inheritors. 10 who shall inherit Paradise therein dwelling forever. 11 And assuredly We created man of an extract of clay. 12 Then We placed him as a sperm in a firmly established lodging; 13 then We developed that drop into a clinging form, and We developed that form into a lump of flesh, and We developed that lump into bones, and clothed the bones with flesh. Then We brought him into being as a new creation, glory be to God, the best of creators, 14 Then after that you shall surely die, 15 and then on the Day of Resurrection you shall certainly be raised up. 16 We made several highways one over the other above you. We are not neglectful of creation. 17 We sent down water from the sky in due measure, and lodged it in the earth, and We are able to take it all away. 18 Then We produced for you therewith gardens of palms and vines wherein are many fruits for you, and of them you eat, 19 And created the tree that comes forth from Mount Sinai – that grows containing oil and curry for the eaters. 20 There are lessons for you in the cattle from whose bellies We give you milk to drink, and there are other advantages that you derive from them, and some of them you eat; 21 and are carried on them and also on ships. 22
