Say thou; my Lord! if Thou wilt shew me that wherewith they are threatened. 93 My Lord! then place me not with the unjust. 94 And verily to shew them that wherewith We threaten them We are surely Able. 95 Repel thou the evil with that which is fairer. We Ourselves know very well that they describe. 96 Say, "Lord, I seek your protection against the strong temptations of the devils. 97 “And my Lord, (I seek) Your refuge from their coming to me.” 98 lt ceaseth not until when death cometh to one of them, and he saith: my Lord! send me back. 99 That I may work righteously in that which I have left. By no means! It is but a word he uttereth; and before them is a barrier until the Day when they shall be raised. 100 Then, when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no kinship among them that Day, nor will they ask of one another. 101 And those whose scales are heavy [with good deeds] - it is they who are the successful. 102 and he whose scales are light -- they have lost their souls in Gehenna dwelling forever, 103 The fire will scorch their faces and they will be groaning therein in pain. 104 Were not My messages recited to you and did you not reject them? 105 'Lord' they will reply, 'adversity prevailed over us and we were erring. 106 Lord, take us out of this and if we sin again, we shall certainly be unjust". 107 God will say, "Stay there and do not speak to Me. 108 Lo! there was a party of My slaves who said: Our Lord! We believe, therefor forgive us and have mercy on us for Thou art Best of all who show mercy; 109 But you ridiculed them. So much so that out of (spite) for them you forgot to remember Me and laughed at them. 110 Verily! I have rewarded them this Day for their patience, they are indeed the ones that are successful. 111 He shall say, 'How long have you tarried in the earth, by number of years?' 112 They will say: We tarried a day or part of a day, but ask those who keep account. 113 [Whereupon] He will say: "You have spent there but a short while: had you but known [how short it was to be]! 114 "Do you imagine that We created you without any purpose and that you would not be brought back to Us?" 115 Then high exalted be God, the King, the True! There is no god but He? the Lord of the noble Throne. 116 Whoever worships another god apart from God, for which he holds no proof, will have to account for it before his Lord. Verily the unbelievers will not prosper. 117 And say: O my Lord! forgive and have mercy, and Thou art the best of the Merciful ones. 118
