۞ Those who do not hope to meet Us ask: 'Why have no angels been sent to us? Why can we not see our Lord' How proud they are within themselves, and have become greatly disdainful. 21 On the day when they shall see the angels, there shall be no joy on that day for the guilty, and they shall say: It is a forbidden thing totally prohibited. 22 and We shall take all that they did and turn it into scattered dust. 23 Fellows of the Garden shall be on that Day in a goodly abode and a goodly repose. 24 Upon the day that heaven is split asunder with the clouds and the angels are sent down in majesty, 25 the true Kingdom on that Day shall belong to the Merciful a harsh day for the unbelievers. 26 And (remember) the Day when the Zalim (wrong-doer, oppressor, polytheist, etc.) will bite at his hands, he will say: "Oh! Would that I had taken a path with the Messenger (Muhammad SAW). 27 "Ah! Woe to me! Would that I had never taken so-and-so as a friend! 28 he made me forgetful of the warning after it had reached me. Satan is man's great betrayer." 29 The Messenger will say, "Lord, my people did indeed discard the Quran," 30 And even so We appointed unto every prophet an enemy from among the culprits. And thine Lord sufficeth as Guide and Helper. 31 The unbelievers have said, "Why was the whole Quran not revealed to him at once?" We have revealed it to you in gradual steps to strengthen your hearts and give you explanations. 32 They do not bring to you any parable but that which We bring to you is the truth and better in explanation. 33 Those who will be pushed faces forward into Hell will be in a worse position, farther away from the path. 34
