But [let them always remember that] if We lengthen a human being's days, We also cause him to decline in his powers [when he grows old]: will they not, then, use their reason? 68 We have not instructed the (Prophet) in Poetry, nor is it meet for him: this is no less than a Message and a Qur'an making things clear: 69 that he may warn whosoever is living, and that the Word may be realized against the unbelievers. 70 Observe they not that We have created for them, of that which Our hands have worked, cattle: so that they are their owners. 71 And have subdued them unto them, so that some of them they have for riding, some for food? 72 And they have (other) benefits from them (besides), and they get (milk) to drink, will they not then be grateful? 73 They have set up other gods besides God, hoping to be helped by them, 74 They (the appointed Gods) cannot help them; and they and their armies will come (to Us), as captives. 75 So let not their speech grieve thee (O Muhammad). Lo! We know what they conceal and what proclaim. 76 And did not man see that We have created him from a drop of semen? Yet he is an open quarreller! 77 And he makes comparisons for Us, and forgets his own (origin and) Creation: He says, "Who can give life to (dry) bones and decomposed ones (at that)?" 78 Say: "He who brought them into being in the first instance will give them life [once again,] seeing that He has full knowledge of every act of creation: 79 Who hath appointed for you fire from the green tree, and behold! ye kindle from it. 80 Is not He, Who created the heavens and the earth Able to create the like of them? Yes, indeed! He is the All-Knowing Supreme Creator. 81 Whenever He wills a thing, He just commands it “Be” and it is. 82 All glory belongs to the One in whose hands is the control of all things. To Him you will all return. 83
