Blessed be He Who hath placed in the heaven mansions of the stars, and hath placed therein a great lamp and a moon giving light! 61 And He it is who causes the night and the day to succeed one another, [revealing Himself in His works] unto him who has the will to take thought - that is has the will to be grateful. 62 And the slaves of the Most Beneficent (Allah) are those who walk on the earth in humility and sedateness, and when the foolish address them (with bad words) they reply back with mild words of gentleness. 63 They are those who spend the night worshipping their Lord, prostrating, and standing, 64 And who say: Our Lord! Avert from us the doom of hell; lo! the doom thereof is anguish; 65 Indeed it is a most wretched abode. 66 And those who, when they spend, are neither prodigal nor grudging; and there is ever a firm station between the two; 67 And they who do not call upon another god with Allah and do not slay the soul, which Allah has forbidden except in the requirements of justice, and (who) do not commit fornication and he who does this shall find a requital of sin; 68 and on the Day of Judgment their torment will be double. They will suffer forever in disgrace. 69 except for those who repent and believe and do good deeds. God will change the evil deeds of such people into good ones: He is most forgiving and most merciful. 70 In fact, the one who repents and does righteous deeds, returns to Allah as one ightly should. - 71 Those who witness no falsehood, and, if they pass by futility, they pass by it with honourable (avoidance); 72 and who when they are reminded of the verses of their Lord, they do not fall down deaf and blind. 73 And who say: Our Lord! Vouchsafe us comfort of our wives and of our offspring, and make us patterns for (all) those who ward off (evil). 74 They will be rewarded for their perseverance with lofty mansions in empyrean where they will be received with greetings of peace and salutations, 75 Dwelling therein;- how beautiful an abode and place of rest! 76 Say, "What would my Lord care for you, if you do not call on Him. Because you have indeed rejected the truth and His punishment is bound to overtake you. 77
