Al-Furqaan 6 of 6
Blessed be He who has set the constellations in the heaven, and set amongst them a sun, and an illuminating moon. 61 It is He who has made the night and day follow each other for those whom He desires to remember or He desires to be thankful. 62 The servants of the All-merciful are those who walk in the earth modestly and who, when the ignorant address them, say, 'Peace'; 63 They are those who spend the night worshipping their Lord, prostrating, and standing, 64 who pray, "Lord, protect us from the torment of hell; it is a great loss. 65 It is indeed an evil halt and an evil abode;" 66 And those who, when spending, neither exceed the limits nor act miserly, and stay in moderation between the two. 67 who do not invoke any god but Allah nor kill a soul, which Allah has forbidden, unjustly, nor commit adultery. -He who does this shall be punished for his sin, 68 he shall have his suffering doubled on the Day of Resurrection and he will abide forever in disgrace, 69 Save him who repenteth and believeth and worketh righteous work. Then these! for them Allah shall change their vices into virtues. Verily Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful. 70 and seeing that he who repents and [thenceforth] does what is right has truly turned unto God by [this very act of] repentance. 71 And those who do not witness falsehood, and if they pass by some evil play or evil talk, they pass by it with dignity. 72 And those who, when they are reminded of the signs of their Lord, do not fall deaf and blind upon them. 73 who pray, "Our Lord, bless us with wives and children, who may be the comfort of our eyes, and make us leaders of the righteous. " - 74 They will all receive Paradise as their reward for their forbearance and patience, where they will be greeted with, "Peace be with you." 75 They will live therein forever, the best abode and place of rest. 76 Say (O Muhammad SAW to the disbelievers): "My Lord pays attention to you only because of your invocation to Him. But now you have indeed denied (Him). So the torment will be yours for ever (inseparable permanent punishment)." 77
True are the words of God the Almighty.
