The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

When the earth is shaken with its mighty shaking, 1 and when the earth brings forth its burdens 2 And man says, "What is [wrong] with it?" - 3 On that Day she will tell out the tidings thereof. 4 For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration. 5 That Day mankind will proceed in scattered groups that they may be shown their deeds. 6 And so, he who shall have done an atom's weight of good, shall behold it; 7 and whoso has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
