Blessed be He Who has placed in the heaven big stars, and has placed therein a great lamp (sun), and a moon giving light. 61 It is He who has made the night and day follow each other for those whom He desires to remember or He desires to be thankful. 62 And the slaves of the Most Beneficent (Allah) are those who walk on the earth in humility and sedateness, and when the foolish address them (with bad words) they reply back with mild words of gentleness. 63 And they who pass the night prostrating themselves before their Lord and standing. 64 And who say: Our Lord! Avert from us the doom of hell; lo! the doom thereof is anguish; 65 it is an evil abode and an evil resting place": 66 Who are neither prodigal nor miserly in their spending but follow a middle path; 67 And those who do not worship any other deity along with Allah, and do not unjustly kill any living thing which Allah has forbidden, nor commit adultery; and whoever does this will receive punishment. 68 [but] shall have his suffering doubled on Resurrection Day: for on that [Day] he shall abide in ignominy. 69 except for those who repent and believe and do good deeds. God will change the evil deeds of such people into good ones: He is most forgiving and most merciful. 70 He who repents and does good works truly turns to Allah in repentance, 71 And those who do not witness falsehood, and if they pass by some evil play or evil talk, they pass by it with dignity. 72 And those who, when reminded of the verses of their Lord, do not fall upon them deaf and blind. 73 And those who say, "Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example for the righteous." 74 Those are the ones who will be rewarded with the highest place in heaven, because of their patient constancy: therein shall they be met with salutations and peace, 75 They shall abide in it forever; what an excellent abode and place of stay. 76 Say (to the Rejecters): "My Lord is not uneasy because of you if ye call not on Him: But ye have indeed rejected (Him), and soon will come the inevitable (punishment)!" 77
