Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Greed for more and more distracted you [from God] 1 Until you come to the graves. 2 You shall know. 3 nay, again, you shall soon come to know. 4 Nay, would that ye knew (now) with a sure knowledge! 5 You have indeed to behold Hell; 6 Then ye shall surely behold with the surety of vision. 7 and on that Day you will most surely be called to account for [what you did with] the boon of life! 8
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
