The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 These are the verses of the Clear Book. 2 Wouldst thou, perhaps, torment thyself to death [with grief] because they [who live around thee] refuse to believe [in it]? 3 If We will, We can send down on them a sign from the sky so that their leaders would remain bowed before it. 4 And never comes there unto them a Reminder as a recent revelation from the Most Beneficent (Allah), but they turn away therefrom. 5 For they have already denied, but there will come to them the news of that which they used to ridicule. 6 Did they not look at the earth - how much We have produced therein from every noble kind? 7 Lo! herein is indeed a portent; yet most of them are not believers. 8 Your Lord, He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 9
