The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ TA SIN MIM. 1 These are the verses of the Book that makes things clear. 2 Perhaps you will kill yourself with grief because they do not believe. 3 If We list, We can send down unto them a sign from the heaven so that their necks would become to it submissive. 4 And there cometh not unto them any fresh admonition from the Compassionate but they are wont to be therefrom backsliders. 5 So they have surely belied; wherefore anon there shall come unto them the truth of that whereat they were wont to mock. 6 Do they not look at the earth,- how many noble things of all kinds We have produced therein? 7 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 8 And verily, thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 9
