In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Ta Sin Mim 1 These are the verses of the perspicuous Book. 2 It may be thou frettest thy soul with grief, that they do not become Believers. 3 Had We so willed, We could have sent down unto them a message from the skies, so that their necks would [be forced to] bow down before it in humility. 4 And there does not come to them a new reminder from the Beneficent Allah but they turn aside from it. 5 So they have indeed denied (the truth - this Quran), then the news of what they mocked at, will come to them. 6 Observe they not the earth, how much We make to grow therein of every fruitful kind? 7 In this there is, certainly, evidence (of the Truth). But most of them have no faith. 8 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
