۞ And We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Journey along with My bondmen within the night, for you will be pursued.” 52 Then Pharaoh sent into the cities summoners, 53 (Saying): "These (Israelites) are but a small band, 54 who have certainly provoked our wrath. 55 And indeed, we are a cautious society... " 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 their treasures and their noble dwellings -- 58 Thus it was; and We made the children of Israel possess them. 59 Then they followed them at the sunrise; 60 So when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa cried out: Most surely we are being overtaken. 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 Then We inspired Moses, saying: Smite the sea with thy staff. And it parted, and each part was as a mountain vast. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 And We saved Musa and those with him, all of them. 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 67 And lo, thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
