Are you more difficult to create or the heavens? He built it, 27 He raised it high and leveled it, 28 and covered its night with darkness and brought forth from it its day; 29 and the earth-after that He spread it out, 30 and has caused its waters to come out of it, and its pastures, 31 and the mountains He set firm, 32 all this as provision for you and your cattle. 33 AND SO, when the great overwhelming event [of resurrection] comes to pass 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 And hell will stand forth visible to him who seeth, 36 Then as for him who is inordinate, 37 And prefers the life of this world, 38 Lo! hell will be his home. 39 And for such as had entertained the fear of standing before their Lord's (tribunal) and had restrained (their) soul from lower desires, 40 Then surely the garden-- that is the abode. 41 (Muhammad), they ask you, "When will the Hour of Doom come?" 42 What art thou about, to mention it? 43 [seeing that] with thy Sustainer alone rests the beginning and the end [of all knowledge] thereof? 44 Thou art but [sent] to warn those who stand in awe of it. 45 On the Day they see it, they will feel as though they had stayed (in the grave) no more than one evening or one morning. 46
