۞ We revealed to Moses: "Set forth with My servants by night for you will be pursued." 52 The Pharaoh sent word to all the cities saying, 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 and they have enraged us, 55 We are warning all of you about them." 56 Thus did We take them away from gardens and watersprings, 57 And treasures and honorable station - 58 Thus (were those things taken from them) and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and when the two groups saw each other, Moses' companions said, "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Moses replied, "No, My Lord is with me, and He will guide me." 62 Thereupon We inspired Moses thus: Strike the sea with thy staff!" - whereupon it parted, and each part appeared like a mountain vast. 63 And We brought near, there, the others. 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, every one; 65 then We drowned the others. 66 In this there was certainly evidence (of the Truth), but most of them did not have any faith. 67 Surely, your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
