۞ And We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Journey along with My bondmen within the night, for you will be pursued.” 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities musterers: 53 [bidding them to call out his troops and to proclaim:] "Behold, these [children of Israel] are but a contemptible band; 54 “And indeed they have angered all of us.” 55 But we are a numerous host, ever on guard." 56 As such We expelled them from their gardens and their fountains, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable place. 58 and We made the Children of Israel inheritors of these bounties. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa (Moses) said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Moses replied, "No, My Lord is with me, and He will guide me." 62 Then We inspired Musa (Moses) (saying): "Strike the sea with your stick." And it parted, and each separate part (of that sea water) became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 We also brought the other party close to the same spot, 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 Then drowned the others. 66 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 67 Indeed your Lord is mighty and merciful. 68
