Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven splits open. 1 and when the stars are scattered, 2 And when the seas are flowed out, 3 And when the graves are turned upside down (and they bring out their contents) 4 A soul will [then] know what it has put forth and kept back. 5 Human being, what evil has deceived you about your Gracious Lord, 6 who created thee and shaped thee and wrought thee in symmetry 7 He moulded you into whatever shape He willed. 8 Nay, but ye deny the Judgment. 9 Yet over you there are watchers, 10 Noble and recording; 11 Knowing all what you may do. 12 Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure, 13 And most surely the wicked are in burning fire, 14 Roasted they shall be therein on the Day of Requital. 15 And will not be absent thence. 16 And what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? 17 Again, what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 A day on which no soul hath power at all for any (other) soul. The (absolute) command on that day is Allah's. 19
