۞ We said to Moses: "Travel by night with My creatures. You will surely be pursued." 52 And Pharaoh sent forth heralds to all the cities. 53 "These," they said, "are only a small band, 54 "And verily, they have done what has enraged us; 55 “And indeed we are an alert army.” 56 We deprived them (the unbelievers) of gardens, springs, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable place. 58 This happened with them; (but on the other hand), We enabled the Children of Israel to inherit those bounties. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two parties saw each other, the companions of Musa said: verily we are overtaken. 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 Then We inspired Musa (Moses) (saying): "Strike the sea with your stick." And it parted, and each separate part (of that sea water) became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 And We brought the others close to that place. 64 And We saved Musa and those with him, all of them. 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Verily herein is a sign; but most of them are not believers. 67 And yet, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 68
