۞ And We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Journey along with My bondmen within the night, for you will be pursued.” 52 So Firaun sent gatherers into the cities. 53 saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people 54 who have certainly provoked our wrath. 55 And verily we are host well-provided. 56 Then We drave them forth from gardens and springs. 57 their treasures and a noble station. 58 even so, and We bequeathed them upon the Children of Israel. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 When the two groups came close to each other, the companions of Moses said, "We will be caught". 61 Moses said: "Certainly not. My Lord is with me; He will direct me." 62 Then We inspired to Moses, "Strike with your staff the sea," and it parted, and each portion was like a great towering mountain. 63 Then We brought near the others [Fir'aun's (Pharaoh) party] to that place. 64 And We delivered Musa and those with him together. 65 But We drowned the others. 66 Verily herein is a sign; but most of them are not believers. 67 And lo, thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
