۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 So Firaun sent gatherers into the cities. 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 And lo! they are offenders against us. 55 And lo! we are a ready host. 56 We deprived them (the unbelievers) of gardens, springs, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable position; 58 As such we gave it to the Children of Israel. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa (Moses) said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 He replied: Nay indeed! My Sustainer is with me, [and] He will guide me!" 62 Then We revealed to Moses: 'Strike the sea with your staff', so it divided and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 We also brought the other party close to the same spot, 64 We saved Moses and all the people with him 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 And lo, thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
