۞ AND [there came a time when] We inspired Moses thus: "Go forth with My servants by night: for, behold, you will be pursued!" 52 Then Pharaoh sent into the cities summoners, 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 they have enraged us, 55 seeing that we are, verily, a nation united, fully prepared against danger 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 and their treasures and excellent dwellings. 58 This happened with them; (but on the other hand), We enabled the Children of Israel to inherit those bounties. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and when the groups came face to face, the companions of Moses cried out: "We are overtaken!" 61 Moses replied: "By no means. My Lord is with me. He will show me the way." 62 So We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Strike the sea with your staff”; thereupon the sea parted; so each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 then, We drowned the others. 66 Verily! In this is indeed a sign (or a proof), yet most of them are not believers. 67 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
