(People), is your creation harder for God than that of the heavens, which He created, raised and established 27 He raised its roof and made it proper. 28 Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light). 29 And after that He spread the earth; 30 therefrom brought forth its waters and its pastures, 31 And the mountains He has fixed firmly; 32 an enjoyment for you and your flocks. 33 When the great over-whelming event arrives, 34 on that Day man will [clearly] remember all that he has ever wrought; 35 And the hell shall be made manifest to him who sees 36 Then, as for him who rebelled 37 and preferred the present life, 38 that blazing fire will truly be the goal! 39 but one who fears to stand before his Lord and restrained himself from base desires, 40 Lo! the Garden will be his home. 41 They question thee of the Hour: when will its arrival be? 42 What do you have to do with explaining it? 43 Its knowledge rests with your Lord. 44 You are only a warner for those who fear such a day. 45 On the day when they see it, it will seem to them as though they had only lived in the world for a morning and an afternoon. 46
