And heaven – We made it with Our Own Power and We have the Power to do so. 47 And the earth, We have made it a wide extent; how well have We then spread (it) out. 48 And all things We have created by pairs, that haply ye may reflect. 49 Therefor flee unto Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from him. 50 Do not set up another god with God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 51 Similarly, there came not to those before them any messenger except that they said, "A magician or a madman." 52 Have they (the people of the past) transmitted this saying to these (Quraish pagans)? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds (in disbelief)! 53 Turn, then, away from them, and thou shalt incur no blame; 54 And remind; the Reminder profits the believers. 55 And I created the jinns and men, only for them to worship Me. 56 I do not desire provision from them, nor do I desire that they should feed Me. 57 For Allah is He Who gives (all) Sustenance,- Lord of Power,- Steadfast (for ever). 58 For the Wrong-doers, their portion is like unto the portion of their fellows (of earlier generations): then let them not ask Me to hasten (that portion)! 59 And woe to those who have disbelieved from their Day which they are promised. 60
