۞ Then We revealed Our will to Moses, saying, "Set forth with My servants, in the night, for you will surely be pursued." 52 Then the Pharaoh sent announcers to the cities, 53 [bidding them to call out his troops and to proclaim:] "Behold, these [children of Israel] are but a contemptible band; 54 "And they are raging furiously against us; 55 And lo! we are a ready host. 56 and so we have [rightly] driven them out of [their] gardens and springs, 57 and their treasures and excellent dwellings. 58 As such we gave it to the Children of Israel. 59 But they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two parties saw each other, the companions of Musa said: verily we are overtaken. 61 He replied: Nay indeed! My Sustainer is with me, [and] He will guide me!" 62 Then We revealed unto Musa, saying: smite thou the sea with thy staff. So it became separated, and each part was like unto a cliff mighty. 63 And We brought near thither the others. 64 And We delivered Musa and those with him together. 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Verily there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 And yet, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 68
