۞ By inspiration we told Moses: "Travel by night with my servants; for surely ye shall be pursued." 52 Then the Pharaoh sent announcers to the cities, 53 (Proclaiming): "Surely they are a small band (of fugitives). 54 And most surely they have enraged us; 55 “And indeed we are an alert army.” 56 So We expelled them from gardens and fountains, 57 And treasures and agreeable mansions. 58 and We made the Children of Israel inheritors of these bounties. 59 And so [the Egyptians] caught up with them at sunrise; 60 And when the two bodies saw each other, the people of Moses said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 He said: By no means; surely my Lord is with me: He will show me a way out. 62 Then We revealed to Moses: 'Strike the sea with your staff', so it divided and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 We also brought the other party close to the same spot, 64 We saved Moses and all the people with him 65 Then drowned the others. 66 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 67 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
