۞ We revealed to Moses: "Set forth with My servants by night for you will be pursued." 52 So Firon sent heralds into the cities; 53 (Saying): "These (Israelites) are but a small band, 54 who have certainly provoked our wrath. 55 and we are a host on our guard.' 56 So We made them leave the gardens and springs of water, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable place. 58 This happened with them; (but on the other hand), We enabled the Children of Israel to inherit those bounties. 59 Then they followed them at the sunrise; 60 And when the two bodies saw each other, the people of Moses said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Moses said: "Certainly not. My Lord is with me; He will direct me." 62 Then We revealed unto Musa, saying: smite thou the sea with thy staff. So it became separated, and each part was like unto a cliff mighty. 63 And We brought the others close to that place. 64 We delivered Moses and every one with him, 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 In this [story] behold, there is a message [unto all men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 67 And lo, thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
