۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent gatherers to the cities. 53 (Proclaiming): "Surely they are a small band (of fugitives). 54 And lo! they are offenders against us. 55 "But we are host all assembled, amply forewarned." 56 So We made them leave the gardens and springs of water, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable position; 58 Thus [We turned them (Pharaoh's people) out] and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 And they overtook them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts came in view of each other, Moses' companions said: 'We have been reached' 61 Said Moosa, “Never! Indeed my Lord is with me, He will now show me the way.” 62 Then We revealed to Moses, 'Strike with thy staff the sea'; and it clave, and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, every one; 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 In this there was certainly evidence (of the Truth), but most of them did not have any faith. 67 And lo, thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
