۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities musterers: 53 They announced “These people are a small group.” 54 And indeed, they are enraging us, 55 and we are a host on our guard' 56 Thus did We take them away from gardens and watersprings, 57 treasures, and graceful dwellings. 58 Thus (were those things taken from them) and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 At sunrise, they followed them. 60 and when the two groups saw each other, Moses' companions said, "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Musa said: by no means; verily with me is my Lord; He shall guide me. 62 Then We revealed to Moses, 'Strike with thy staff the sea'; and it clave, and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 In the meantime We made the others approach that place. 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, every one; 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 67 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
