T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ TA HA. 1 We have not sent down this Qur’an upon you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) for you to fall into hardship! (Either because he used to pray at length during the night or because he was distressed due to the disbelievers not accepting faith.) 2 But as admonition for him who fears -- 3 a revelation from Him who has created the earth and the high heavens 4 the Most Gracious, established on the throne of His almightiness? 5 To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, and all that is in between, and all that is beneath the soil. 6 And if you speak aloud – so He surely knows the secret and that which is more concealed. 7 Allah-- there is no god but He; His are the very best names. 8 And has the story of Moses reached you? - 9 When he saw fire, he said to his family: Stop, for surely I see a fire, haply I may bring to you therefrom a live coal or find a guidance at the fire. 10 So when he came near the fire, it was announced, “O Moosa!” 11 Verily I! I am thy Lord: so take off thy shoes; verily thou art into the holy valley, Tuwa. 12 and I have chosen thee [to be My apostle]: listen, then, to what is being revealed [unto thee]. 13 I Am the only God. Worship Me and be steadfast in prayer to have My name always in your mind. 14 The Hour is coming; I would conceal it that every soul may be recompensed for its labours. 15 So let not him who believeth not therein and followeth his own desire keep thee away therefrom lest thou perish. 16 What is that in your right hand, Moses' 17 He said, “This is my staff; I support myself on it, and I knock down leaves for my sheep with it, and there are other uses for me in it.” 18 God said, "Moses, cast it down." 19 So he cast it down, and lo! it was a serpent running along. 20 Then He said: "Seize it and have no fear. We shall restore it to its former state. 21 "And press your (right) hand to your (left) side, it will come forth white (and shining), without any disease as another sign, 22 That We may show you of Our greater signs: 23 "[And now] go thou unto Pharaoh: for, verily, he has transgressed all bounds of equity. 24
