۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 So Firaun sent gatherers into the cities. 53 (Proclaiming): "Surely they are a small band (of fugitives). 54 but they are indeed filled with hatred of us 55 We are warning all of you about them." 56 So, We expelled them from gardens and springs, 57 and [deprived them of their erstwhile] station of honour!" 58 Even so. And We gave them as a heritage to the children of Israel. 59 The people of the Pharaoh pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two parties saw each other, the companions of Musa said: verily we are overtaken. 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 Then We told Moses by inspiration: "Strike the sea with thy rod." So it divided, and each separate part became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 In the meantime We made the others approach that place. 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 Then drowned the others. 66 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 67 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 68
