۞ And We revealed unto Musa saying: go by night with My bondmen verily ye shall be pursued. 52 Then Fir'aun (Pharaoh) sent callers to (all) the cities. 53 They announced “These people are a small group.” 54 who have certainly provoked our wrath. 55 And most surely we are a vigilant multitude. 56 So We removed them from gardens and springs 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable place. 58 Even so. And We caused the Children of Isra'il to inherit them. 59 And they overtook them at sunrise. 60 And when the two companies saw one another, the companions of Moses said, "Indeed, we are to be overtaken!" 61 Moses said: "Certainly not. My Lord is with me; He will direct me." 62 Then We bade Moses strike the sea with his staff. And it parted, and each part was like a huge mountain. 63 Then We brought the others to that place. 64 We delivered Moses and every one with him, 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Verily! In this is indeed a sign (or a proof), yet most of them are not believers. 67 And lo, thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
